AIA National Photography Competition
The AIA National Photography Competition was founded to capture and highlight the multi-talents of the architect. Winning images from the competition are published in a succeeding year's Rizzoli Engagement Calendar, an internationally recognized and sold publication. Entries are juried by a panel compromised of acclaimed architects, professional photographers or graphic designers.
The competition is open to any and all architects actively registered in the US; Associate members of the AIA and student members of AIAS in good standing. The deadline is March 1, 2011. Entries must be submitted on a CD ROM and may be black and white or color images.
Four images will be selected for cash awards:
- First Place Award / $500
- Second Place Award / $400
- Third Place Award / $300
- Albert Fuller Award / $200 (American Architecture Subject)
Entry Fees:
- Entry fee for AIA members (AIA & Assoc. AIA) is $30 for five images
- Entry fee for AIAS members is $15 for five images
- Entry fee for non-member registered architects is $50 for five images
Entries must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2011 and must include:
- Completed entry form
- Entry fee (check or money order) payable to AIA St. Louis
- Images on CD ROM (Please note: 35mm slides will no longer be accepted)
